Vivian Ly
Social Media OfficerVivian Ly is a 2L with interests in corporate and transactional law. She joined APALSA to connect with and support the Asian legal community while building meaningful relationships with fellow students and professionals. Outside of APALSA, she serves as Vice President of Women of Law and volunteers with ECI’s Street Law Program.
Christian Swate
Events OfficerChristian Swate is a 2L interested in patent law, criminal defense, and cannabis law. He joined APALSA to help cultivate viability and opportunities for Asian and Pacific Islander legal practitioners and future attorneys. Outside of law, he makes independent comics and studied computer science as an undergraduate.

1L RepresentativeAly Ubungen is a 1L with an interest in corporate law. She joined APALSA to connect with others who share her background, learn from the experience of practitioners, and contribute to a supportive community. Outside of law school, she works as a fitness instructor.
Zoe del Valle Fang is a 2L interested in commercial litigation. She started APALSA because she wanted a space for Asian and Pacific Islander students and our allies — somewhere we could connect, support each other, and share our cultures with the wider law school community. Outside of APALSA, she is a BARBRI campus representative and a Civil Procedure tutor.

Irene Castillo
Vice PresidentIrene Castillo is a 2L with an interest in criminal law a. She joined APALSA to support its mission of crating a welcoming and inclusive space within the law school community. Outside of the classroom, Irene is passionate about serving her community, connecting with others, and using her legal education to make a meaningful impact.
Clarissa Cedillos is a 2L interested in pursuing a career in personal injury law. She joined APALSA to support her friends in creating a welcoming and safe space for Asian and Pacific Islander students and fellow allies, while building community and connection within the law school. She received her undergrad degree in political science.

TreasurerEdson Garza is a 2L interested in criminal and immigration law. He joined APALSA because he wanted to help with the opportunities of his friends while also supporting the growth of diversity in the law field. Outside of law, he studied political science at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley and he loves the Spurs.
Maria Santos
Firm Outreach OfficerMaria Santos is a 2L interested in personal injury, IP, and sports and entertainment law. As Firm Outreach Officer, she connects students with attorneys and firms. A former dentistry and business pro and mom of two teens, she's a seasoned negotiator. Off duty, she's at live shows, trying new restaurants, or planning trips she has no time for.
David Pham
1L Events OfficerDavid Pham is a 1L interested mainly in criminal law. He joined APALSA because he wanted to connect with Asian and Pacific Islander members of the legal field and help bring Asian and Pacific Islander issues to the forefront. Outside of law, he likes video games and Batman.
